We love Yvette at Yogadoll so wanted to share that love and find out a little bit more about her and what she does.

How long have you been a fitness model and what got you into that industry?

"I have been a fitness model for the better part of a decade. I have been blessed enough to fuse my passion for a fit and healthy lifestyle with my work. As far as what got me into the industry goes, I never set out wanting to be a fitness model as such. This evolved due to my healthy life choices which meant that looking fit was and is a by-product of being fit and healthy.

Due to God's blessings the rest is history, opportunities started to present themselves, and I would make sure I was across the expectations of the different clients."

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to become a fitness model?

"Concentrate on first building a fit and healthy lifestyle. There is nothing better than leading by example. People can see and feel authenticity, and it is a must when you want to be a fitness model."

You're also an instructor, what do you teach?

"I teach Pilates (Mat, Reformer, Props and Cadillac), Body Balance, Barre Attack and Stretch."

What is your favourite class to teach and why?

"My main love is the Pilates as it is founded on core strength and transforming the body from the inside out. It can change people's lives for the better, and that is what drives me to do what I do! Helping make a difference in people's lives is the key!"

Your super fit, what is your secret to an amazing body?

"Building it from the inside out! Taking care of yourself and loving your body for what it is. Embracing the flaws and wanting to be the best version of yourself through a healthy balanced diet and training. Building upon whatever level of fitness you currently have to better yourself and challenge you!"

What is important to you when it comes to choosing active wear?

"For me, active wear needs to be strong and gutsy. It needs to be reliable and able to withstand hard work! It needs not to be too sheer or see through. I like it to be beautiful bold prints and also cut well to fit the body."
